How to ward off dreaded fungus army from your nails

Our nails are not immune to the dreaded fungus army.  It’s not a serious condition but it can change the colour, shape and texture of your nail.

Instead of hiding your extremities away in shame behind closed shoes and socks or covering your infected fingernails, try this easy to make home recipe to help you with your funky fungi.
The main cause of nail fungus is contact with contaminated items, such as dirty floors or footwear. It can also be caused by a weakening of the immune system and excessive sweating, according to health website steptohealth.com. This is their cool recipe for the fight against fungi:

The apple cider vinegar and baking soda remedy by steptohealth:
First, apply the vinegar directly to the nails. After several minutes, use baking soda to enhance the anti-fungal treatment.
Ingredients
6 cups of water (1.5 litres)
½ cup of apple cider vinegar (125 ml)
7½ tablespoons of baking soda (75 g)

Preparation
Heat water until it reaches a tolerable temperature for the skin. Add the apple cider vinegar.
Dip feet into the liquid and let them soak for 15 minutes. Dry well.
Apply the baking soda with a gentle exfoliating massage action.
Rub baking soda directly onto the nails. Let it work for another 15 minutes.
Rinse with warm water and dry again.
Repeat the treatment every night to improve the appearance of affected nails.
Keep in mind that although this method can eliminate fungi, the effects can’t be achieved with just a single application.
