January birthdays can still be celebrated with these ideas

January is not only a tight month for money but the worst possible time to be born. Everybody is still recovering from Christmas and News Year’s spending and still have to survive January, so they have no time to think about buying birthday presents or big parties.

You have to feel a bit bad for the January babies – they did not ask to be born in the most difficult month of the year. So try and make their day special with these cool ideas:

Jar of love: If you have any jars laying around, clean them out and tie some pretty ribbon around the neck and on colourful sticky paper, write the birthday person’s name on it and fill it with their favourite sweets or chocolates. Go big and make a few jars with a variety of goodies such as homemade biscuits.

Cake-tastic! Nothing says birthday like a cake but because money is tight and ingredients are expensive, experiment with this tasty mayonnaise cake recipe:

Bring and share: Let your family members know that your loved one is celebrating their birthday and convince them to each come with one dish or drink. If enough people come you will have a full blown birthday party!
