Foods that your dog should not eat

We may treat our pets like they’re human, but that doesn’t mean they get to eat “people food.”

Here are a list of potentially harmful foods that you should never feed your dog.

1. Apple seeds and cores

2. Coconut and coconut oil

3. Avocado

4. Grapes and raisins

5. Apricot stems, leaves, and pits

6. Onions and chives

7. Garlic

8. Xylitol

9. Chamomile

10. Salt and salty snack foods

11. Cherry steams, leaves, and pits

12. Macadamia nuts

13. Other nuts, including almonds, walnuts, peanuts, and pecans

14. Mustard seeds

15. Rhubarb

16. Tomato plant

17. Citrus fruits

18. Chocolate

19. Coffee and caffeine

20. Raw eggs

21. Hops

22. Potato leaves, stems, skin, or any green parts

23. Peach stems, leaves, and pits

24. Liquorice

Of course, not all dogs will react the same way to all foods. If you’re in doubt, always ask your vet.
