Quins AC’s Basil shows youngsters the way

HARLEQUINS Harriers Athletics Club’s Basil Kok finished last week’s 4.7km time trial in a blistering time of 20.20, to show the younger club members the way home on Wednesday, 10 May.

4.7km (down run): Basil Kok 20.20, Calvin Rix 21.21, Matthew Rust 22.12, Justin Ellero 23.13, Chris Smith 26.45, Daniel Human 26.46, Billy Davidson 29.31, Debbie Stringer 31.24, Bill Hogg 31.30.

Well done to all runners who completed last weekend’s DeLoittes marathon and half marathon.

Due to the darker evenings as winter approaches, all runners are urged to wear light clothing and reflective belts while out on the roads so that they can see and be seen, and stay safe.

There are a limited number of 2017 licences still available. Contact Judy Conlin on 083-603-2877 to purchase a licence. The club welcomes the support. Time trials are held every Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, starting at Bluff National Golf Club in Club Drive. All are welcome.
