Did you know that the name for a baby llama is a cria, a baby ferret is a kit and that a young cockroach is a nymph?
These are just a few terms for younglings in the animal world. Why not learn some and impress your friends with your knowledge?

Clam – larva

Dove – squab
Echidna – puggle
Hare – leveret
Mole – pup

Partridge – cheeper

Porcupine – porcupette
