Nest eagles in nature reserve

EDITOR – Nature is always a trade-off (in reference to the article published in last week’s Southlands Sun, headlined ‘Talons out for Bluff crowned eagle ‘pet killer’’).

I would suggest that the crowned eagles are nested in Stainbank Nature Reserve, as one of their prey is vervet monkeys.

This will keep the monkey population in balance.
